Hello my name is Jeff Eastham. I am the Assistant Youth Pastor and Director of Sports Ministries at Twin Rivers Worship Center and I am writing in regards to a youth baseball league I am wanting to put together with some of the other churches in this area. I have coached teams in the past in a few other leagues around town and it is just sad to see how some of them are ran. I want to create a place where kids can not only have fun that is clean and enjoyable, but where the parents can relax and be able to watch their children while in a positive atmosphere. I have been in contact with some owners of some baseball fields here close by and they are willing to rent the fields to us if we can get enough teams signed up. The fee for the fields would be covered by our church and we would charge a small entry fee for each kid but not anything overly expensive, especially with today’s economy. My goal is to create a league that is for ages 7-18 years old. This would be broken up into different age groups and would also be a way for many churches to connect with each other and bring a sense of community to St. Louis. My heart and passion is to help the generation of today. I love to be around kids and teens, and try to lead them in a way of life with God and be a influence to many.
